The mysterious band who are called The Network (and are not Green Day) have released a new song called ‘I Told You So’.

The Networks debut album ‘Money Money 2020’ was released back in 2003 but since then the band have been pretty quiet. The band have now released a new song to Instagram with the name ‘I Told You So’, which will appear on their upcoming album ‘Money Money 2020 Part II’. Check it out here:

The Network’s new song was spotted by Green Day Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong who responded “What the actual fuck? @thenetwork”, clearly Billie is a super-fan of the band, We might have missed the new song if it wasn’t for him…

Green Days Bass Guitarist, Mike Dirnt, also put in a word about the band on his instagram, responding to tweet from Warner Records that read “We are excited to welcome [The Network] to our esteemed roster. It’s not everyday you have the honor of signing [Green Days] biggest nemesis.”

Mike replied to this with “@thenetwork you want WAR… you got one!!!” going on to add “27 years on reprise records and this shit happens!!! WTF”

Obviously Billie wouldn’t have time to make and release music in another band since he’s just released his ‘No Fun Mondays’ album.
