Foo Fighters To Take Part In “Amazon Music’s Holiday Plays” Concert Series

The Foo Fighters are set to take part in Amazon Music’s three-part holiday concert series.

The series will be hosted by Lil Nas X and is called “Amazon Music’s Holiday Plays”, and will premiere on December 1st, with new episodes airing every week on Tuesday at 8pm ET (1 AM GMT) through until December 15th. The show will feature outlandish sets, playful Q&As, and intimate performances from artists.

Miley Cyrus is set to kick off the series, with her first performance since the release of her new album ‘Plastic Hearts’. Week 2 will see Kiana Ledé perform, and see her playing her breakout single “Ex”. Then closing the series will be Foo Fighters on December 15th, playing their new single, ‘Shame Shame’, as well as classics from their 25-year career, and a cover of Chuck Berry Christmas chestnut ‘Run Rudolph Run’.

“Amazon Music’s Holiday Plays” will be filmed within a historic theatre, and will give fans a unique and memorable music experience. It will feature handcrafted stage designs curated by each artist, hydraulic snow machines, backstage ballyhoo, multiple costume changes, fresh takes on classics and holiday covers, and Q&As between Lil Nas X and the artists.

“I can’t wait for my fans to go back to the future with me, and have the world see me perform ‘Holiday’ live for the first time ever,” said Lil Nas X. “I worked with Amazon Music to create a crazy set that’s going to take everyone on a wild ride through a futuristic North Pole. It’s going to be amazing!”

You’ll be able to view the series for a limited time, customers around the world can view via the Amazon Music app, Amazon Music Twitch channel, and US customers can stream on Amazon.com or Prime Video. “Amazon Music Holiday Plays” will be available on-demand on Prime Video until December 31.
