Bombay Bicycle Club will be playing their debut album in full via a livestreamed gig set to take place next month. ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’ was the band’s debut albums released back in 2009, which was met with acclaim when it released and cemented the band as key players in the indie music scene.
The news comes after the band announced that they’ll be releasing a new live album, recorded at a sold out Brixton Academy Show in November of 2019. The 2019 show saw the band playing their debut album in its entirety as well.
Next month’s livestream will see the band returning to London’s Konk Studios, where the debut album was recorded back in 2008-2009. The stream will be taking place on December 15th, and fans that pre-ordered the bands live album will be gain access to the stream, alternatively tickets can be purchased separately for £5.50.
Talking about the stream the band said “We’re looking forward to revisiting this album in a special one-off performance and then we’re entirely focused on new music which we hope to get to you next year”
The new live album will be available digitally, on CD, on vinyl, and as a double LP (which will include the original studio album as well). The album can be pre-ordered here.
