The Killers sixth studio album ‘Imploding The Mirage’ has flown straight into the number one spot on the official UK charts. The album has 50,000 chart sales, including nearly 42,000 copies on CD, Outselling the rest of this weeks Top 5 combined.

The band holds the title of the only international band ever to have six consecutive number 1 studio albums sinces their debut. The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers, with his 2 solo albums, now has eight albums that charted at number 1 to his name.
