AFI Confirm New Album Will Release This Year

AFI have confirmed that they’ll be releasing their 11th full-length album this year.

The band posted a trailer showing their silhouettes with a little snippet of new music.

The description of the new video read “With the end of a year that has been, at best, challenging for all, we have news that we hope may bring you some joy.”

Going onto say “Very soon, new songs shall be yours. Before the year’s end, our 11th album will follow. We could not be more happy with our latest work and hope you will feel the same. Thank you for joining us upon this next journey. We are thrilled to take it and honored to have you at our side.”

While no further details of the new album were provided, we’re already excited to see what the band have for us. The band previously released album 10 back in 2017 called ‘AFI (The Blood Album)’, it contained ‘White Offerings’ check it out here:

Between album 10 and the upcoming 11 the band also released ‘The Missing Man’ EP in 2018. The EP featured ‘Get Dark’ which you can have a listen to hear:
