UK black metal fans will know Incineration Festival as the premiere day for all things black metal. With bands such as Mayhem, Abbath, Sodom and many other gracing the stage it’s no wonder the festival has grown so much in recent times.
Unfortunately, the festival organisers have had to postpone the festival for a second time. Fortunately, the organisers have confirmed that many acts have reconfirmed for next year’s lineup.
The reconfirmed line-up will include Emperor, Bloodbath, Dark Funeral, Tsjuder, Akercocke, October Tide, Beheaded, Skeletal Remains, Unfathomable Ruination, Noctem, Grave Desecrator, The Infernal Sea, Blasphemer, Foetal Juice Burial, Pist, Damnations Hammer. Many more acts will be added over the coming year.
The Incineration Festival team released a statement in regards to the postponement. “Dear friends, We hope you are all staying safe as we enter the new year.”
Continuing “It is with great sadness that we have to pass on the news to you that due to current restrictions, Incineration Festival will now take place on 7th May 2022. We are pleased to re-confirm 2021 headliners, EMPEROR as well as BLOODBATH, DARK FUNERAL, and many more!”
It’s a sad thought that a year on we are still having live shows get pushed further and further away but be sure that shows will return! If you’re a fan of extreme metal, why not get yourself a ticket to Incineration Festival here!
We see you like Bloodbath, Dark Funeral, and Emperor! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for the latest news about them.
