Wolf Alice seem to be teasing their return with the title ‘The Last Man On Earth’.
The title, ‘The Last Man On Earth’, appears on the band’s website, above a form for fans to enter their email address (to receive emails from the band), and a cryptic looping video of a single eye blinking.
The title has appeared on social media, via a sponsored post – which has lead many to believe that news of the band’s third album/new music is imminent.
It’s not yet clear what the title is referring to, but it could be the band’s next album, an upcoming single, a side project, or maybe even something else entirely.
Back in November 2019 the band broke “their radio silence”, sharing a post that read “promise [you] we [are] hard at work writing new music”
Hi Uk friends, promise u we r hard at work writing new music but we r breaking radio silence to stress the importance of making sure u r registered to vote in the upcoming election. The deadline is the 26 OF NOVEMBER. pic.twitter.com/J1vHX78KcD

Then, later in January 2020, Jamie Oborne – the boss of their label Dirty Hit – told NME that the band were working on the new record over the first part of 2020.
“It’s going well,” Oborne said on the progress on album number three. “The guys are just writing. The demos are pretty well formed, we’ve settled on a producer and they’ll be starting in about a month’s time. It’s going to be amazing. They’re an incredible band already but seem really inspired to make their best album.”
