Glaswegian hard rockers Gun have released a new single and have announced a UK tour.
The song, called ‘Whiskey and a Prayer’, originally appeared on the Japanese edition of ‘Favourite Pleasures’ and the bands live album ‘Live At King Tut’s’. The track grabs the listener from the off, as they are soon thrown into a whirlwind of unstoppable guitar licks and venomous drum patterns, as Gizzi champions determination and an unwillingness to give up.
The new single, signifies a new era for the group, as the band ramp-up to release their eighth studio album, which is currently planned to release in November.

The new single also comes alongside the announcement of a UK tour by the band, which is set to take place across November and December 2021. The band will be visiting some iconic venues such as London’s Islington Assembly Rooms and Newcastle’s Cluny.
Sharing the excitement of the band on the upcoming tour, Gun’s Jools said “Hey Gunnetts and Gunners – Some great news at last! We can’t wait to get back out on road, it’s been a long time coming. It’s been over a year since we toured since this shit COVID thing happened, so let’s put that to bed and start the party!”
