London duo CRASHFACE have released their second single of the year called ‘Cold’.
The new track follows the band’s first single of the year, ‘Molotov Smile’, which was premiered on Daniel P. Carter’s BBC Radio One Rock Show.
“Everyone gets jealous, it’s just a fact, so this track is all about embracing that sour taste rather than just trying to dismiss it,” frontman Charlie Hinton says. “It’s ultimately saying, ‘I may be jealous at times, I may be cynical, but fuck it that’s what makes me, me.’ It’s about learning to grow from that jealousy.”
The music video for the track “compliments the stomping tune, showing off the duo’s bratty performance in a trippy but elegant office space. Combined with a bath full of green slime, there’s not a dull moment between Otto’s reluctant bass playing and Charlie scaling every piece of furniture in sight.” according to the press release.
The video was directed by Jessie Rose and edited by Charlie himself, and is the perfect embodiment of the short, sour sucker punch that is ‘Cold’. Check it out here:
