Gothic punk rockers Salem have announced a new 19 date long UK tour run that’s set to take place this October. The new tour run will see the band taking to many smaller venues and towns that most tours don’t usually head to.
The run of shows, entitled the “Join The Church Tour” will see the duo – formed of Creeper’s Will Gould and Skylar’s Matt Reynolds – joined by James And The Cold Gun.
The announcement comes ahead of the band’s upcoming second EP, ‘Salem II’, which is set to release this Friday.

Talking with Rocksound about the announcement, Frontman Will Gould said “We are so excited to announce that our passion project SALEM will be touring for the first time. Born in lockdown it feels surreal to be finally taking the band out into the real world for the first time, but never more appropriate.”
Adding “After a year of watching our music scene take hit after hit from COVID-19, reinforced by a real lack of support from our government, we have made a conscious effort to be playing a long intimate tour in independent venues. We owe so much to venues like these and are desperate to do our part.”
“I haven’t performed in venues these sizes in a very long time and I’m so excited for sweaty stage dives and punk rock singalongs. This tour is going to be absolute carnage in the best possible way.”
Tickets will be on sale this Thursday 6th May at 10am from here (Affiliate Link).
Salem will also be releasing their second EP this Friday (May 07) via Roadrunner Records. Here’s the lead single ‘DRACULADS’:
