Sleep Token Announced As Heavy Music Awards Headliner

The Heavy Music Awards have announced the line-up for it’s fifth annual Heavy Music Awards show, which will be taking place as an in-person event at the 2,300 capacity O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday 02 September 2021.

Taking to the stage over the course of the night will be the most exciting bands in British music right now. Being headlined by Sleep Token, and supported by Trash Boat, Hot Milk, and As Everything Unfolds. All the acts recently featured on the line-up at the Download Pilot event.The show will also have an afterparty taking place at the same venue until 2am hosted by Fireball Whiskey.

Last year the annual award show had to pivot to a live-streamed online award event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. HMA20 saw 177,000 live viewers tuned in. Following this success, the HMA’s 2021 will also be streamed worldwide on Twitch.

Voting for the HMA’s 21 has now closed. Finalists of this year’s event include Bring Me The Horizon, Creeper, Loathe, As Everything Unfolds, and many more. Check out the full list below.
