Rick Rozz (Death), Matt Harvey (Exhumed, Gruesome), Gus Rios (Gruesome), and Terry Butler (Obituary, Death) have announced a new band going by the name Left To Die.

The band have confirmed that they are working on their debut EP and will tour this summer to perform Death’s complete 1988 album ‘Leprosy’, as well as songs from ‘Scream Bloody Gore’.

“After the recent Chuck Tribute shows that Matt, Gus, and myself did, Rick posed the question ‘Would anyone would want to see someLeprosy shows?’ With a resounding ‘yes!’ the masses had spoken,” explained Terry Butler. “Matt & Gus threw their hats in immediately and in my opinion they were the only real choice to bring this thing to life !! Left To Die coming your way soon !!”

Rick Rozz would go on to add “It’s going to be an absolute honor and pleasure to play these 34+ year-old songs on stage with Terry after all these years, along with the talents of Matt and Gus – it’s gonna be brutal!”

As mentioned by Butler, Himself, Gus Rios and Matt Harvey all performed on the tribute show in honour of Chuck Schuldiner that was streamed on the 12th December 2021. They played under the alias Living Monstrosity and performed Death’s classic album Spiritual Healing in full.
