Metallica have announced a livestream acoustic set from their headquarters in California, to benefit All Within My Hands charity.
The stream will be happening on November 14th. There are a range of tickets available for this event, a standard ticket will be ~£11.50 ($14.99), an audio ticket bundle (which includes mp3 download of the show) will be ~£19.50 ($25), an audio and t-shirt bundle will be ~£42.50 ($55) + shipping, a VIP virtual fan ticket bundle will be ~£73 ($95) + shipping. Tickets are available here, and 100% of money raised goes directly to help someone in need.
A statement released from the band said “his special acoustic show starts at 2pm Pacific Time and will benefit our foundation, All Within My Hands. Don’t worry if you can’t catch it live, your ticket will allow you to watch the show as many times as you like within a 48-hour period once you start the stream. There are four ticket packages to choose from, and we’ll also be hosting an auction with some awesome items! 100 per cent of money raised goes directly to help someone in need.”
All Within My Hands is non-profit made by the band in 2017 in order to create “sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger and other critical local services”. The band have also recently donated $645,000 to various Covid-19 relief organizations, and $350,000 to help with those affected by the West Coast Wildfires. They also previously donated to help Australian bushfires and community colleges across America.
