Lume Fest Announce New Partnership!

Lume Festival has today announced a partnership with Signature Brew for the inaugural edition of the brand-new one-day music festival – that’s set to take place in Camden on Saturday 15th April.

An all-new multi-venue festival in the heart of Camden was founded by both Lauren Bell and Adam Green back in August 2022 with a much-needed focus on having more representation of Women, LGBTQ+ and People of Colour within the rock and metal scene! This can be seen with acts like Delaire The Liar, Lake Malice, Alyx Holcombe, and headliners Dream State!

With the announcement of sponsorship with Signature Brew, this vision has well and truly been achieved!  Co-founder of Lume Fest and owner of Passion For Talent Management Lauren Bell said “When I started working in the music industry, particularly on the live side of things, I learnt very quickly that it’s very much ‘the boys club’. When Adam and I first talked about doing the Lume Festival, we both agreed on wanting to provide opportunities for women, LGBTQ+ individuals and POC so that we were able to launch a festival that is both diverse and inclusive for all. This is also why the majority of our crew are women. Lume Festival is here to lead by example on the importance of lineups and events crew no longer being male-dominated.”

Dream State’s Jesse Powell had this to say on the festival “As a woman who hasn’t always felt welcome in the metal scene,  it’s really important to me to headline the very first Lume Festival. I’m so excited to see so many females playing this festival – it’s almost as though the scene today can’t get enough of girl-fronted bands! I can’t wait for this festival to grow year on year and to look back on this event and feel proud to have been part of it.”

The venues being used for the festival are The Underworld, The Black Heart, and The Camden Eye and this will mark the first alternative music festival of the season!!
