The ArcTanGent Festival 2023 has just announced even more amazing bands for this year’s event. The festival will take place from August 16th to August 19th at Fernhill Farm, which is just a short drive from Bristol City Centre.
The newly announced acts include the Oklahoma-based rock band Chat Pile, whose debut album ‘Gods Country’ released in mid-2022 is one of the finest and most innovative heavy debuts of recent times.
Festival organiser James Scarlett had this to say on Chat Pile “With their debut album easily being one of my top releases of 2022, we’ve been working ridiculously hard to get Chat Pile to ATG 2023 – they’re pretty much the most exciting thing going at the moment so we’re over the moon with this announcement. We told you it was just going to get bigger and better!”
Also joining the lineup are UK underground music legends Sikth, celebrated UK 5-piece Rolo Tomassi, and Wuhan emo band Chinese Football. They will be accompanied by Dutch alt-pop group GGGOLDDD, LA-based electro noise rock band HEALTH, Long Island hardcore/mathcore superhumans Car Bomb, superb Australian prog-metal band Caligula’s Horse, and many more.
Finish off the announcement is the likes of Apidae, Abraham, Burial Clouds, Hammok, Hypno5e, Pothamus, Death Goals, Lys Morke and WitchSorrow. Joining an already stacked lineup being topped by Converge and Heilung, the festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest since it’s inception. With one headliner still to be announced, the hype around this year’s installment is reaching an all time high.
