London based emo trio EVERPALE have shared their new track ‘The Static’, which exclusively premiered on Alyx Holcombe’s ‘Introducing Rock’ on BBC Radio 1 earlier this week. The release has been accompanied by a INTENSE music video on the band’s YouTube channel, check it out below!

Talking further about the track frontman Connor Catchpole said “‘The Static’ presents the struggle to find yourself and to make a connection with others around you.”

He added “In the disjointed modern world, it is worryingly easy to feel outcast or isolated and there’s a pressure to conform, to act, or to feel a certain way in order to be accepted. These expectations come not only from others, but from deep within ourselves. Most of us are just trying to make sense of the chaos, find some meaning, make a connection.”

Going on to say “‘The Static’ is a reflection of the personal struggle to find your place in the world, with all its highs and lows, its beauty and its horror. Is this the world that you and I hoped for?”

The band’s accompanying high-energy music video comes with a very SERIOUS CONTENT WARNING for flashing images from the start. Check it out here:

Since the beginning of 2023, the alternative trio have been establishing their presence in the London music scene off the back of their first two tracks, ‘Daydream (Broken Parts)’ and ‘Human’. Following their successful performance at a sold out The Fiddlers Elbow for Camden Rocks in April, the band has been steadily gaining momentum – supporting band’s accross the capital.
