RØRY has garnered quite a dedicated fanbase and for good reason. Her captivating social media presence has been a huge part of her success in both her music work and her ADHD awareness collaborative channel ADHD Love. Her music is unsurprisingly full of emotion and driven with passion, so we just had to check out how it transferred over to a live show! Here’s what went down one faithful night in Islington!

Opening the night was the animated Cameron Sanderson who quickly captivated the crowd with his deeply emotional blend of music. This set was full of crowd participation as Cameron would often drop down to the pit barrier to feel closer to his fans while also giving off a tremendous amount of energy during his performance. The part of his set that definitely went down the best was a cover of All-Star by Smash Mouth where Shrek himself would take to the stage to add to the chaos of the moment. Fans seemed extremely invested during this set and Cameron would close out his set by thanking the audience and announcing his tour for later this year!

Oxford’s finest South Arcade where up next and these guys just seem to get better and better each time they venture down to London! Charisma, energy and passion were the order of the evening as soon as South Arcade hit the stage and this resonated with their growing crowd extremely well. The song that seemed to light the fuse was their latest single ‘Danger’. During this song, the room started to loosen up and people could be seen singing and dancing from the floor to the balcony. South Arcade felt at home on a stage of this size and I wouldn’t be surprised if their own headline tour took them to a place like this in the near future!

It was finally time for RØRY to take to the stage and the place absolutely erupted as the first note of ‘My Chemical Romance’ hit. This energy quickly turned into a passion for tracks like ‘Baby Vendetta’ and ‘My Funeral Song’. RØRY’s charisma was on full show during her performance as she orchestrated her emo choir throughout the entire night with no issue whatsoever. ‘Good Die Young’ was a tear-jerker for her fans while songs such as ‘Alternative’ and ‘Help Your Friends Get Sober’ brought the room together and created a real sense of Unity inside Islington Academy.

Emotion is a driving force of RØRY’s music and the song ‘Sadcore’ perfectly captured the essence of her music. As the night grew older, the passion on display didn’t subside as RØRY and co charged full speed ahead with songs like ‘Psychological War’, ‘Jesus & John Lennon’ and ‘Kiss The Girl’, the latter of the three garnering a massive reaction and being one of the loudest singalongs of the night! Unfortunately, all shows must come to an end however RØRY was not going to leave on a low note. ‘Family Tree’ reignited the spark that gave the room the energy to leave everything they had during ‘This Is A Song Not A Suicide Letter’ and finally ‘Uncomplicated’.

RØRY proved that she is more than just some TikTok sounds with a truly breathtaking performance here in London Town. It’s rare to see so much passion behind each and every lyric however RØRY lives and breathes her message and is extremely proud to share it with anyone willing to listen!
