Confetti an CO2 gas cannons are how A Day To Remember are choosing to kick off their special London show as the band explodes onto the stage with the recognisable ‘Let’s Go’ from the ever popular ‘Downfall Of Us All’. It’s a massively fitting start to the evening as things are at the redline from the first note played. It’s clearly a party of magnificence and one that would only be further highlighted by some of the biggest sing a long’s the Kentish Town Forum bears witness to. It’s not often you get to see A Day To Remember in smaller venues across in the UK and the fans take no chances in letting such an opportunity slip them by.

With all of the bands records very well represented on what can only be described as the jackpot of all setlists, you’d be hard pressed to find any semblance of disappointment in the room. Banger after banger that results in an eruption of excitement both on and off the stage – it doesn’t take long at all to realise that both band and fan are feeding off each other. It’s a beautiful thing.

Its sometimes easy to forget how heavy A Day To Remember can be and its quite the showcase live. The band have this unwavering ability to flip seamlessly between their anthemic, almost hardcore/punk songs to their much heavier material and it makes for quite the rollercoaster live.
London see’s no shortage of opportunities so sing, to scream or to dance. ‘Paranoia’ and ‘Reassemble’ make it impossible be still for the duration. The band also take the opportunity to showcase some of the newer material from 2021’s ‘Your Welcome’ including fan favourites ‘Mindreader’ and ‘Resentment’.

Those with an inclination to the bands softer sound however are not forgotten. ‘If It Means A Lot To You’ have the band donning their acoustic guitars all while being challenged by the fans in a contest to see who can sing it louder at the start of an encore that ends things just as strongly as they began.

An absolute extravaganza that most are unlikely to forget about any time soon. Its how most Sunday evenings should be spent.
