The End of All We Know

Bleed From Within has been one of the most impressive metalcore acts on the scene as of late. From their critically acclaimed album ‘Fracture’ to their larger than life performances at both Download Pilot and Bloodstock Open Air. Now it’s finally time for them to embark on their headline tour with Kill The Lights and Ingested. We managed to catch them at their London show at The Dome and here is everything that went down.

The night kicked off with Kill The Lights who put on an explosive set, jam-packed with intricate riffs and high intensity. Right from the off, ‘Shed My Skin’ had fans attention and as the set went on, it was clear they had made quite the impression on those who came down early to catch them. Minimising talking to maximise their playing time, fans seemed extremely into tracks like ‘Watch You Fall’ and ‘The Faceless’. It was a great little set to get the crowd warmed up and I have to say it was so cool seeing Michael ‘Moose’ Thomas and Jason ‘Jay’ James back together.

Ingested were up next and they brought the slam from Slamchester to London and it rocked! At first, the crowd seemed a bit timid to the extremely heavy style of Ingested however within a couple of songs, the pit was in full swing and Ingested had the crowd in the palm of their hands. Highlights of the set included a stellar performance of ‘Dead Seraphic Forms’ and a live performance of a track that is yet to release that is heavy as hell! There is always the risk that the crowd won’t be into a much heavier band on this kind of tour however Ingested did an amazing job of getting the crowd pumped for Bleed From Within. You’ve gotta try and catch them on their UK tour next year!

As the lights went out, the anticipation grew for Bleed From Within to make their long-anticipated return to London. Opening their set with ‘Into Nothing’ was always going to cause mayhem and that’s exactly what happened. The pit was ferocious and the entire crowd was pumped. The room was full to the brim which gave the show a tonne of character. ‘Fall Away’ kept the energy up despite Scott Kennedy admitting his throat was not great and asking for fans to help him if they knew the words.

The set was full of so much passion and emotion with tracks like ‘Ruina’ and ‘Night Crossing’ leaving me completely gobsmacked at the sheer intensity and energy that was on display. The pit was full speed throughout the entire show and the crowd’s voices were crystal clear as they sang each and every song back to the band. This is why intimate shows will always feel so much more alive, they are full of people that are diehard fans of the band playing which makes for an incredible atmosphere.

Opening their encore with ‘I Am Damnation’, it was clear they were leaving the crowd with absolutely zero energy left in the tank. Closing out the entire night was ‘Alive’ and ‘The End Of All We Know’ which absolutely blew me away. It’s rare that I’m left completely speechless yet somehow Bleed From Within pulled it off.

Unsurprisingly, Bleed From Within put on one hell of a performance and I can’t help but feel as though they may be on the path of being the next big thing. They give everything in their live performances and it’s clear just how much the fans mean to the band which is a nice thing to witness. I cannot wait to see what is next for Bleed From Within but what I do know is that I’m along for the ride.
