A Day To Remember Announce FREE Acoustic Livestream Event

Following the release of their recent acoustic cover of Degenerates, A Day To Remember have announced a full acoustic livestream, called Live At The Audio Compound.

The is set to kick off on the band’s YouTube channel later today, January 25th, at 8pm Est/5pm Pst/1am GMT(tomorrow UK time). After the initial stream, the show will be available for 24hrs.

Announcing the show to their socials, the pop-punk/metalcore band promised that the set will consist of “fan-favourites” plus “sought-after deep cuts”, as well as premiering the band’s new single, ‘Everything We Need’.

‘Everything We Need’ will be the fifth single from the upcoming album, previously the band have shared ‘Brick Wall’, ‘Mindreader’, ‘Resentment’, and ‘Degenerates’.

Talking about the upcoming album frontman Jeremy McKinnon said “It’s finally here—almost! To all our fans around the world, we want to say, ‘Thank you!’ You’ve waited patiently, and we can’t wait for you to hear this. There’s a lot of detail in everything we do from the mixes to the artwork, because it all tells a story. So, we made sure each element was perfect. Every line happens for a reason. We took what we envision modern music to be and made a hybrid of who we were, who we are, and who we want to be. It took a lot of maneuvering to get it right, but we feel like we did. We’re here now and very happy to present You’re Welcome”

‘You’re Welcome’ originally had a release date of November 15th 2019, which was then postponed to “early 2020”, and then further delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The new release date for the album will be March 5th 2021 via Fueled By Ramen.

Back in November of last year, guitarist Kevin Skaff stated that the reason the for the initial push back was that “the art for the record isn’t done yet” going on to say “We still can’t find a good cover for the record. I know it doesn’t really matter nowadays, with streaming and everything, but we just want everything to be perfect before it comes out.”

Back in April Neil Westfall said things were on the way, explaining how he felt about the albums as-yet-unknown release date “It’s like you’re keeping a secret! You have this little secret, this little thing that you can listen to and nobody else has it yet (laughs). It’s pretty cool. But I’m excited for people to hear it – I really want that to happen, and it will soon.”
