Aerosmith have postponed their European 2021 tour, but might have accidentally confirmed a Glastonbury 2022 set.

The tour has had to be postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and will now kick-off in 2022 at Lisbon’s Altice Arena on June 1st. Full dates below.

In a statement about the postponed tour the band said “Due to current conditions and for the safety of our fans, the 2021 European Tour has been rescheduled to 2022. Please stay tuned for more information regarding the new dates or contact your point of purchase. All tickets will be valid for new dates.”

The band also confirmed some new dates, including possibly a Glastonbury 2022 set. The self confirm was spotted by Twitter user The Glasto Thingy, who posted “FIRST SELF CONFIRM FOR 2022! Aerosmith have included Glastonbury in their tour dates on their website.”

However, the Glastonbury date has since been taken down from their tour page…

The band were originally scheduled to perform at the festival back in 2020, however, the event had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, the festival also had to be shelved this year as well, with a statement from owners Michael and Emily Eavis saying “With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us,”

“In spite of our efforts to move Heaven & Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year. We are so sorry to let you all down.”
