It’s that time of year again where the majority of European Festivals start to announce some of the acts you can expect to see at next years festivals. Bloodstock had already announced a handful of bands including headliners Killswitch Engage and Megadeth at their 2022 event and have now added nine more bands to the list for next year!
Sweden’s own In Flames have landed themselves a spot on the Ronnie James Dio stage and with the band set to release their new album ‘Foregone’ in February, this should mean that the Bloodstock masses will get to hear some of these new tracks live!
Off the back of a UK tour celebrating their 40th anniversary, Anthrax have also been announced for next year’s festival. The Thrash Metal royalty marks two of “The Big 4” at the festival so expect a very thrash filled weekend when they come into Catton Park!
Headlining the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Friday will be Deathcore legends Whitechapel. After the success found from their last release ‘Kin’, the band will be hoping to capture the hearts and minds of the Bloodstock alumni.
Sunday will see Biohazard headline the Sophie Lancaster Stage with their original lineup returning! The New York Hardcore outfit have been away for quite some time now going on hiatus back in 2016 with fans wondering if they would ever return. The answer is YES!
Also being added to the bill are the likes of Brazilian Metallers Sepultura, Ugly Kid Joe, Nonpoint, Trollfest, and Church Of The Cosmic Skull.
Recently, Bloodstock announced the return of their annual competition ‘Metal 2 The Masses’ where bands from around the country battle it out for a chance to play at Bloodstock festival. If you’re interested in signing up you can find all the information you will need here!
2023’s Bloodstock event has already seen tickets selling at a record pace with both Capervan and VIP tickets already selling out! If you want to attend next year’s festival you can secure your tickets here!
