Bowling For Soup Share New Single ‘Getting Old Sucks (But Everybody’s Doing It)’

No one wants to grow old, but it’s something that no one can escape, this is the sentiment expressed in pop-punkers Bowling For Soup new single ‘Getting Old Sucks (But Everybody’s Doing It)’.

The song comes alongside a new video that sees Jaret, Gary, Chris and Rob adjust to the challenges of getting older – in a manner of speaking – while still rocking out in time-honoured, tongue-in-cheek Bowling For Soup style.

“I’ve had the tag line / title of this song for a really long time. I just couldn’t quite get the right vibe or mindset to write it.” frontman Jaret Reddick explains. “Oddly enough, it took Rob, the young guy in the band, sending me some music that needed lyrics and a little massaging…and here we are!”

“I also need to note that the puppets in the video were made by a teenage girl and her family made the video for us! It’s so perfect!”

‘Getting Old Sucks (But Everybody’s Doing It)’ is the first new single from the band since their early 2020 worldwide smash hit, ‘Alexa Bliss’.

Bowling for soup are set to return to the UK in the Spring of 2022 on their rescheduled ‘Surf The UK’ tour, taking to the countries many seaside towns, with support from Lit and The Dollyrots. Tickets are on sale now here (Affiliate Link). Check the dates below.
