Rock duo Bram Stalker have released a new impactful and intense single called ‘Dormant’ featuring Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age). Check it out below.
The duo – which is formed of Andrea Maceroni on vocals and bass, and Jacopo De Marco on drums – mix gritty vocals with pushy bass riffs and fierce drumming.
The band’s new single talks about police violence towards civilians, being particularly inspired by Stefan Cucchi’s story – where two Italian police officers were found guilty of manslaughter, in a harrowing case of police brutality that shocked Italy and the world.
The duo’s collaboration with Nick Oliveri started back in 2018, when the duo opened a show for him, and ended up performing ‘Millionaire’ live together with him.

Here’s the lyrics of the track:
The dawn is long overdue
Silence in the halls
Eternal City
Stupid and blind
Fear, hatred and indifference
Two vile servants
Same attire
They stole my breath
(now I’m) dormant
Shameless pigs
throwing glances
With their ties
wrapping up the silence
What will be left
of my dark imperfections
Two silver flames
A bunch of lies
Tell me what’s the difference
Two vile servants
Same attire
They stole my breath
(now I’m) dormant
