‘IGNORE THIS’ is more than just an album; it’s a statement. In a world inundated with white noise and information overload, Dead Pony dares listeners to pay attention with their boundary-pushing sound. Lead guitarist and composer Blair Crichton describes the album as a response to the band’s experiences of being ignored, emphasizing their determination to create music that demands recognition.

The album, entirely written, recorded, and produced by Crichton and his bandmates Anna Shields (vocals), Liam Adams (bass), and Euan Lyons (drums), combines elements of cutting-edge synth-rock with influences from legendary acts like The Prodigy and Queens Of The Stone Age. Across 16 dynamic tracks, ‘IGNORE THIS’ captivates listeners, offering a sonic journey that defies categorization.

Anna Shields reflects on the band’s evolution and their unwavering connection with their audience, describing their fans as kindred spirits who appreciate good music without conforming to trends or labels. With experiences like headlining Glasgow’s TRNSMT festival and selling out their inaugural UK headline tour, Dead Pony’s music resonates deeply with those who feel like misfits in a world obsessed with conformity.

‘IGNORE THIS’ isn’t just an album; it’s a manifesto for those who refuse to be ignored, a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire. Dead Pony’s meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down, and with each electrifying performance, they continue to cement their place in the hearts of fans worldwide.
