Ego Kill Talent have released a new video for ‘Deliverance’ from their second album ‘The Dance Between Extremes’. This is the second video the band have released for the track, check it out below. Check out our review of ‘The Dance Between Extremes’ here.
Expanding the universe of characters the group has created, to translate the narrative of the lyrics into videos, the new music video for the track blends fiction with reality, since this time the protagonist meets with the band in the story. The production features the singer Dinho Ouro Preto on the cast, from Capital Inicial, a classic and extremely popular Brazilian rock band.
“This was one of the first songs we ever wrote for this record. I was at Jean’s apartment, he played me the guitar riff and on the very first ideas for melodies I sang the first verse and it set the direction for the rest of the lyrics” vocalist Jonathan Dörr said. “It has more of a dark mood sound, which I think is awesome. We chose this song because it has a lot of guitars and for it’s melody and catchy chorus”
Guitarist Theo adds “Dinho Ouro Preto is a very relevant symbol of Brazilian Rock and it’s an honor for us to have him on our video. He has a great vibe and it’s cool to see Rock n’ Roll coming together”

This meant that the band were set to play 35 shows and 21 key festivals across three continents, however, the band were forced to pivot due to the global shutdowns, opting to split their full-length into three EPs. The Dance EP landed on June 27. The Dance Between EP dropped on December 4. The final part to make up the entire ‘The Dance Between Extremes’ came in March.
