Linkin Park have revealed the details of their new vocalist, marking a new era for the band. The announcement comes alongside that of a new single, and announcement for a brand new studio album dropping later this year from the band. The news follows the band’s hiatus following the news of Vocalist Chester Bennington’s death in 2017.
Emily Armstrong, Vocalist of Dead Sara, will be joining the band as their new vocalists. The line-up will see surviving Linkin Park members Mike Shinoda (rap vocals), Brad Delson (guitarist), Joe Hahn (turntables), and Dave Farrell (bass) returning to the band’s line-up. Colin Brittain is also set to be joining the band on Drums.
The news was revealed at a secret concert held at RED Studios Hollywood, that saw the band performing live for the first time since 2017. A livestream of the concert was broadcast to the band’s social channels, seeing over 350,000 viewers.
