Loathe have dropped their latest album ‘The Things They Believe’ and its not something you’d expect from the metalcore band. An album consisting of ambience and atmospheres. Following the band’s success after the release of ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’, it’s clear to see the band from Liverpool aren’t afraid to take risks.

Loathe had this to say about the recent launch of the new album: “The concept for ‘The Things They Believe’ was born from the incredible response to ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’, which became the impetus to extend the identity and timeline of the record. Creating sonic landscapes and parallels that explore and expand further on the areas within ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’.”

“As we release this collection of atmospheres, we hope you lose yourself further within this chapter and, much like our love for soundtracks and soundscapes provides us with solace in times of distress and need, we hope you find comfort inside too.”

Loathe have been on the rise since ‘Gored’ and ‘New Faces In The Dark’ were released back in 2019. Supporting bands such as Stray From The Path and Poppy has allowed them to gain a very diverse fandom. The band’s album ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’ met critical acclaim from most publications.
