With just 65 days left until Bloodstock, the excitement is building as metalheads prepare to descend upon Catton Park. As the festival approaches, Bloodstock has announced the latest Metal 2 The Masses winners, new club nights for June and July, updates on this year’s gaming arena, and the return of the Vikings!
First up, the bands: On Friday, the Hopical Storm New Blood stage will host Nottingham alt-rock trio Sleep in Motion, Belfast metallers Nihilanth, Newcastle riff merchants Kraken Waker, and Edinburgh heavyweights Hammer. Saturday’s lineup features Sheffield brutalists IL, Irish-based Brazilian crossover thrash squad Black Hole Divers, Manchester thrashers Hellbearer, and Leicester modern metallers Running with Knives. Closing out Sunday are Leeds prog rockers Divided by Design and Poland’s Metal 2 The Masses winners, melodeath newcomers Semprah. Stay tuned for more winners soon!

To make your arrival smoother, Bloodstock is opening standard campsites a day early on Wednesday, 7th August, for just £20 + booking fee. Enjoy extra time to settle in, hang out with friends, and enjoy evening entertainment, including movies, inflatables, and DJs. Early arrival is available for those with standard weekend tickets, excluding Big Green Coach package holders and Serpents Lair VIP campers.
