New Leaked Photos Of AC/DC Hint At Reunion With Original Members

Earlier this week AC/DC briefly shared and then removed photos from their official website that appear to show the band shooting a music video.

The photos feature three members who have departed the band at various stages over the last tour, which was in support of their 2012 album ‘Rock or Bust’.

Before the recording of ‘Rock or Bust’, rhythm guitarist Malcom Young was forced to leave due to ongoing dementia and other health issues. Youngs nephew Stevie replaced Malcolm as rythm guitarist. The bands drummer Phil Rudd was unable to tour with the album after being arrested in November 2014, and sentenced to 8 months of house arrest for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, and threatening to kill someone.

Frontman Brian Johnson was forced to leave mid tour in 2016, as doctors told him he’d risk permanently losing his hearing if he continued. Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses replaced Johnson to finish the tour. Bassist Cliff Williams announced that he would be retiring from the group shortly before the end of the tour.

The photos that emerged on the bands site this week show lead guitarist Angus Young joined by Stevie Young, Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams standing in front of a large red version of the bands logo.

It’s heavily speculated that the band have completed a new studio album using recordings from founding rhythm guitarist Malcom Young, who sadly passed away back in 2017.

AC/DC have yet to comment on the photos, or reports around a new album, or touring plans.
