Saltatio Mortis And Eskimo Callboy Team Up For New ‘Hypa Hypa’ Cover

Medieval-Metal outfit Saltatio Mortis have teamed up with German metalcorers Eskimo Callboy to release the first cover of ‘Hypa Hypa’ from their upcoming EP ‘MMXX – Hypa Hypa Edition’.

The new version of the track comes accompanied by a funky new video. The band took the chance to completely reinterpret their smashing party hit with Saltatio Mortis, who put it into medieval garb with massive bagpipe power.

The new edition of the song will appear alongside six other reimaginings of ‘Hypa Hypa’ on the upcoming EP ‘MMXX – Hypa Hypa Edition’. The new edition of the EP will include all the original songs, but will also come with several alternative versions of ‘Hypa Hypa’ by a wide range of musical artists, including rock country legends The BossHoss, German popstar Sasha, the rap crew 257ers, YouTuber Axel One, metalcore institution We Butter The Bread With Butter, and a Remix by DJ-duo Gestört aber GeiL.
