Emo’s, Punks and Metalheads rejoice! Slam Dunk have announced their first batch of bands set to play the festival in 2023 and there is a wide variety of artists to choose from! California Punk’s The Offspring and Hertforshire Rabblerousers Enter Shikari take the top spots for the festival.
For all you Punk fans out there, there is plenty to wet your appetite already. Billy Talent, Bowling For Soup, Less Than Jake (Celebrating 25 years of ‘Hello Rockview’), Four Year Strong, and Zebrahead have all been confirmed for next year’s festival. Bringing a wide range of Punk subgenres to both dates of the esteemed festival.
Fans into the heavier elements of life can look forward to bands such as Malevolence, Trash Boat, and Fit For A King. Definitely expect circle pits and walls of death from these stages!
Reunion’s seem to be an in thing right now so Slam Dunk have offered up not one, but two of them in the form of Kids In Glass Houses (who will be celebrating 15 years of ‘Smart Casual’) as well as The Academy Is…
Ontop of all of that, there is still more! Creeper are set to return to Slam Dunk Festival along with Holding Absence as well. Maggie Lindermann is set to make an appearance at both dates bringing her eccentric music to the alternative festival.
NoahFinnce, Real Friends, Greyscale, Charlotte Sands, and Destroy Boys are all set to make an appearance at the festival with SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and Girlfriends finishing up the announcement.
The festival is scheduled to take place at Hatfield Park on the 27th May before heading north to Leeds Temple Newsam on the 28th! Slam Dunk have also announced there will be an extremely limited number of early bird priced tickets available to purchase at 10AM on September 2nd as well as announcing new ticket packages that includes a Weekend Ticket that will allow fans to attend both dates at a cheaper rate!
