Following it’s successful comeback in 2023, Takedown festival have today announced the first wave of acts for 2024. Alongside the band announcements the festival have also revealed that for the first time ever, Takedown Festival is going to span across two days.
Kicking off on Saturday 13th, the festival – which takes place at the Portsmouth Guildhall – will see Goth Punk Horror icons, Creeper, headline the festival following their recent critically acclaimed new album, ‘Sanguivore’.
Joining Creeper to fill out the star-studded festival lineup will be Dinosaur Pile-up, ‘A’, Dreamstate, Kid Bookie, Snayx, Mimi Barks, Hell Is For Heroes, Stone Broken, BLACKGOLD, Dead Pony, Urne, and Mason Hill.
But that’s not all… Today’s announcement is completed by Stone Broken, Shields, The Hurt Process, Scarlet Rebels, North Atlas, Desert Storm, Skarlett Riot, Pint Glass, Tribe Of Ghosts, Punk On Your Hits, Adharma, Face The Wolves, aAnd?, Sunk, Thuum, Crostpaths, and last but not least SWARM6IX.

After an 8 year hiatus, the legendary festival made a comeback this year with headliners Sleep Token and Skindred. The festival moved from its Southampton University roots to the larger Portsmouth Guildhall to become one of the biggest rock events in the festival calendar once again.
The incredible return for Takedown Festival has been topped off having now been nominated for Best Small Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival and the Grassroots Festival Awards at 2023’s UK Festival Awards.
