Takedown Festival Add Over 20 Acts For 2024 Line-Up

Takedown Festival 2024 have just unveiled over 20 additional acts in the second wave of bands for the festivals. Now spanning across two days, the award nominated independent rock and metal festival have already announced a mega line-up headlined by Goth Punk Horror icons, Creeper, and alternative rockers Dinosaur Pile-Up.

“We are very proud to be able to share the next wave of band announcements for Takedown 2024, expanding the festival programming to encompass a diverse spectrum of metal, alternative and rock genres.” Kai and Sarah Harris of Takedown Festival Ltd said, “Our commitment is to provide a broad and inclusive festival experience for our audience and artists and we are confident that Takedown 2024 will exceed expectations.”

Joining the previously announced acts will be Hastings beat-punk reprobates Kid Kapichi, Nu-gen star Cassyette, heavy metal champions Employed To Serve, UK chart topping hellions TERRORVISION as well as BVDLVD, Graphic Nature, Lake Malice, Grove Street, PENGSHUI, and Fort Hope.

However we’re not finished yet, the new wave of bands is completed by Bad Touch, Black Coast, Black Orchid Empire, Cauldron, Empyre, Ferocious Dog, Frozemode, Grove Street, Hero in Error, Kite Thief, Mother Vulture, Mouth Culture, Swear Blind, Tailgunner, Tash, The Nightmares, and last but not least Tom Saint.

“2024 will be the biggest Takedown Festival ever and we are determined to make it the best yet!” Kai and Sarah Harris of Takedown Festival Ltd said, adding “We are delighted to see Takedown taking its place as one of the key rock festivals in the calendar. The line-up announced so far offers a great range of bands and we’ve got more exciting announcements to come!”

After an 8 year hiatus, the legendary festival made a comeback this year with headliners Sleep Token and Skindred. The festival moved from its Southampton University roots to the larger Portsmouth Guildhall to become one of the biggest rock events in the festival calendar once again.

The incredible return for Takedown Festival has been topped off, having now been nominated for Best Small Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival and the Grassroots Festival Awards at 2023’s UK Festival Awards.
