The Krown Jewelz (The artists usually known as The Kunts) have released their latest bid for a UK No 1.
The Band’s latest single ‘Scrap The Monarchy’ which released today, has already crashed into the ITunes Chart at No 38.
The new track takes aim at the UK’s Monarchy, with the band hoping to upset the status quo, and get a song called ‘Scrap The Monarchy’ to number 1 in the chart on Coronation week.
‘Scrap The Monarchy’ drops the band’s usual explicit filled style giving radio stations and the media no excuse not to cover it, however the band have already stated they’re all “predictably … still ghosting it”.

As well as the main track, the band have also released a multitude of remixed versions – sales of which will all be counted together for the main chart at the end of the week. The band have stated that they “don’t expect you to download all of them. just do what you can.”
If you’d rather help by streaming the songs, the band have made a have created 24/7 playlists for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. Remembering that it takes 100 un-muted premium account streams (or 600 un-muted free account streams) to make up the equivalent of 1 sale.
The cut-off point for streams and purchases to count towards this week’s UK Singles Chart is at 11:59pm on Thursday 11th May.

The Kunts have previously been seen across the top of the Official UK Charts, with their previous double onslaughts of ex-prime minister Boris Johnson both reaching the number 5 spot in the Christmas charts (in 2020 and 2021 respectively), and their latest scathing tear down of The Conservative party ‘Fuck The Tories’ reaching number 7 last Christmas.
In with a bang at Number 38 on iTunes this morning!
