Travis Barker Confirms New Blink-182 Album Is Coming This Year
Blink-182 have been busy over the course of the coronavirus pandemic, with them releasing their lockdown single Quarantine, to writing new music. Travis Barker has now confirmed that we can expect a new album from the band this year.
The drummer posted a black and white photo of himself to Instagram with the caption “🥀 GRATEFUL”, Barker was then asked in the comments on the photo if there’s “any new blink-182 albums dropping this year???”.
Travis confirmed that there’s a new album on its way with a simple “YES”. So that clears that up!
Speaking with Kerrang! earlier in the year about his workload within the COVID pandemic, Barker said “You really don’t have anything else to do so you really just start to get creative. I slowly started going to the studio and just really tapping in with artists that were also quarantined and worked on projects. And I think everyone is so grateful and fortunate to be able to make music and just be alive, seize the opportunities and be creative and make great music.”
