Over this weekend (1-5th July) UK Tech-Fest 2021 was originally scheduled, unfortunately the festival had to be cancelled due to the ongoing situation, but the occasion wasn’t left unmarked with the release of “Impressions II”. Watch it below
Four years in the making, “Impressions II” – the official UK Tech-Fest documentary – was released, sharing a celebration of the vibrant UK tech-metal scene, and the festival that has become the summer highlight for many music fans.
Dutch filmmaker and long time Tech-Fest fan, Arne Seynaeve of Studio Zendeghi, produced the hour-long documentary featuring interviews with crew, bands and fans along with live performances from the 2013, 2017, 2018, and 2019 festivals and even an onstage marriage proposal.
The documentary has live audio recorded and mixed by Chris Surgenor Audio, allowing you to re-live memories of The Acacia Strain, MONUMENTS, The Contortionist, Chelsea Grin, Agent Fresco, Panzerballett, The Algorithm, Borders, Unprocessed and many more bands.
“The festival was postponed for a second year running due to restrictions and the ongoing pandemic,” Organiser Simon Garrod commented, “so this documentary is the closest we’re going to get to a Tech-Fest until 2022.”
“Impressions II” follows on from the first UK Tech-Fest documentary, “Impressions”, which Arne Seynaeve also produced.
UK Tech-Fest will now take place on 30th June – 4th July 2022, at the Newark Showground. Tickets for 2021 will be valid for the 2022 event. Tickets for UK Tech-Fest 2022 can be purchased here.
