VEXED have announced their debut album ‘Culling Culture’, and shared it’s first single ‘Hideous’.
‘Culling Culture’ is a tribute to hate, betrayal and anger, whilst also reflecting post-modern society with strikingly honest songwriting and heavy groove.
Their first single, ‘Hideous’, serves not only as a first taste and vicious wake up call, but also showcases that anger can either destroy you or provide real strength. With this offering, VEXED prove the latter.
Talking about their new single the band said “It gives us great satisfaction to share with you our Grindhouse inspired music video for our debut single, “Hideous”. Fueled by the feeling of ‘seeing red’ and having to decide how to react in moments of betrayal and rage, do you let your blood boil over or sit and wait for the killing instinct to pass?”

The Hertfordshire group formed back in March 2019, and have since carved their mark into the metal scene, with their desire for heavy groove, unfiltered lyricism and technical proficiency.
Before signing with Napalm Records, VEXED previously have released two singles independently, showing off their “potent combination of aggressive groove mixed with ominous threads of progressive atmosphere”. Unfortunately, the pandemic stopped the bands planned tour with Whitechapel last year, along with a set at Bloodstock Festival 2020.
